Available with a choice of 1.5 Petrol with Manual transmission or the Hybrid+ Automatic system which allows it to be powered via the Electric Motor alone, offering genuine benefits especially in city driving, but allowing ultimate flexibility should a long journey be required.
Hybrid+ is a dedicated Hybrid powertrain which uses multiple engine technologies for an ultra-wide and efficient operating range offering better economy and more power.
Combined power is a class leading 143kW giving a 0-62 time in a sprightly 8 seconds, mid-range acceleration is equally impressive covering 50-70mph in just 5 seconds ideal for overtaking on our Lincolnshire roads, should the need arise.
The Technological advancements brought by the Hybrid+ system offers 5 distinct operating levels, all chosen automatically for optimum performance:
- EV – Running on electric-only power for as long as charge allows
- Series – Engine runs through to the generator, which powers the electric motor for drive
- Series & Charge – series driving, plus topping-up the battery when under low-load
- Drive & Charge – engine drives the wheels, while also charging the battery through the generator
- Parallel – both the engine and electric motor power the wheels for maximum performance
